Anglo Pacific pledges donation to support the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal

International Shipping Company Anglo Pacific has announced that it will donate £1 for every box it ships in January and February to support those affected by the Australian bushfires.

The money will be donated to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.

Managing Director Jason Diggs said, “From our inception in 1978, Australia has played an integral part in both our makeup in staffing and as our key core destination; so much so that our brand name itself reflects our close association with the region”.

As Australia’s bushfires continue to blaze, the flames have already left over 11 million acres of land scorched and forced tens of thousands from their homes.

The Appeal supports thousands of people in evacuation centres across Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia affected by the bushfires. The Red Cross is working with communities to offer essential crisis assistance and psychological care assisting evacuees with everything from emergency accommodation to locating missing loved ones.
